How to Set DesktopMirror for Google and Palm Desktop Options
DesktopMirror provides many advance options to customize the DesktopMirror software itself and the synchronization.
In any sheet of DesktopMirror, you may click the "Options" button to open the product option dialog box. You may also
select the menu item "Tools -> Options" to open this dialog box shown below:

In this dialog box, you may:
- Set the record display color:
By default, the Contacts/Calendar information are marked with different colors in the table. You may customize the colors shown
by the record status, such as identical records, new records or modified records.
- Set the action when meeting information conflicts:
Sometimes the similar information existed in both Google and Palm Desktop and you may need to determine the actions for these conflict
information. Four action options are available: Palm Desktop overwrites Google, Google overwrites Palm Desktop, Remind and Do Nothing.
- Set Google Account login information:
You may enter the Google account login information here and let DesktopMirror save the Email account name and password, then
you don't have to enter these information when you run DesktopMirror next time.
- Open Palm Desktop information by file name:
By default, the Palm Desktop Contacts/Calendar/Tasks/Memos information are loaded by Palm user name. You may let DesktopMirror load
Palm Desktop information by file name in the Option setting dialog box.
- Swap First Name and Last Name:
In some countries, the sequence of First Name and Last Name is different, you may swap the sequence if you found that the First Name
and Last Name information is not correct.
